About
Dr. Anne Dewar, DVM, is an equine veterinarian specializing in equine sports medicine and based in the Genesee Valley/Western New York area.
She graduated from the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 and settled in Geneseo, NY.
Her professional experience includes working as a veterinarian at Finger Lakes Race Track, where she gained experience treating and evaluating subtle lameness in Thoroughbred race horses, and focusing on keeping the extreme equine athlete in top condition.

She utilizes this experience while conditioning and competing her own horses in Endurance rides.
She now focuses on high quality equine sports medicine for all varieties of equine athletes through Green Gables Veterinary while also working as an examining veterinarian at Finger Lakes Race Track.

Recently she has completed advanced training in equine focused Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians through CuraCore Vet and is utilizing evidence-based acupuncture for her equine patients.
